The Great American Folk Show®, hosted by Tom Brosseau, on Prairie Public Radio. On Saturday, November 8th, Tom welcomes Andy Hedges, caring collector of cowboy poetry and songs, who recites a poem by the Bard of the Yukon, Robert W. Service and sings a gem of a tune called “The Day of Christmas Ball.” Not too early for holiday cheer! This week’s show also features Mandan ND-bred musician Andra Suchy, singer-songwriter Josh Fortenbery, and UK duo Jack & Daisy whose album was produced by The Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart.

2025 Old Town School of Folk Music recent concerts and events include Bill Callahan, Arooj Aftab, Iris Dement, and Hurray for the Riff Raff, Square Roots artists Calexico, and Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. Upcoming this fall: Robert Plant, Rodney Crowell and so many more wonderful musicians.

Pitchfork Music Festival July 19-21 2024. Thanks to all the artists and fans who made this year so memorable. Many highlights including the legends De La Soul, plus Brittany Howard, Lifeguard, Sudan Archives, Alanis Morissette, and the inimitable Grandmaster Flash. A great run!
